Who We Are

Who We Are

Who I Am

Sacred Hearts is a community that embraces kinship with the addicted.

With purity of motivation we are a culture who harness the power of spirituality through the Twelve Steps.

Along with clinical practices we bring compassion, hope and healing to those seeking long term recovery through intervention, education, counseling and sober housing support services.

In a world of best practices, evidence-based outcomes, and statistics we choose to also look into the "Sacred Hearts" of those wanting a new way of living.

Symbolism

The rays of light represent the illumination process that happens within our life as we start to work the Twelve Steps or take part in therapy.

The twelve letters that make up the words Sacred Hearts represent the Twelve Steps.

The heart represents compassion, understanding and Gods unconditional love on humanity.

The flames represent transformation and purification. We are molded new and reshaped as we walk through the fire in early recovery.

The heart itself is the center of being both physical and spiritual.

The skyline represents community and the City of Los Angeles.

The three outer tips of the flame represent three key spiritual principles, honesty, open-mindedness, and willingness.

The two inner points in the flame represent the importance of the sponsor/sponsee relationship as well as service and one person helping another.

The wound represents the wounds we inflict on ourselves and those we love while in our disease.

The tear represents the tears we shed for those who have fallen and for the tears of gratitude and joy we find in recovery.
